No. Diagnosis is free. If you decide not to go ahead after we have opened the machine, only a small handling charge applies for the work already done.
On an upgrade we copy everything across — files, photos, Outlook and bookmarks. Even so, please keep your own backup before handing the machine in. Data can never be guaranteed during board-level or software work, and this is written on the job sheet you sign.
Yes, and it is written on your bill. It covers the part that was fitted, for the period stated. It does not cover physical or liquid damage afterwards, or a device opened at another shop.
